The
saving of the Cemetery from permanent closure and its subsequent
re-creation was due entirely to the energy and determination of
volunteers, originally local but now from all over the world. If
it is to survive, it will always need volunteers and supporters.

Volunteers
We
are always on the look-out for new helpers:
as part of a landscape
working party;
to
welcome visitors to the East
Cemetery, sell publications and answer their questions;
to
train as a guide;
Although
volunteers working on-site will usually live nearby, there have
been some excellent on-site workers from America, Germany, Holland,
France, Australia, South Korea and Scandinavia during the period
while they were in London.
