Grave Searches

To find out whether someone is buried in the cemetery or to trace a grave, please write in by post (see 'Contact Us' above)  giving the person's full name, precise date of death if known, and any other details that might help.  Please enclose a minimum  donation of £10 (cheques made payable to FOHC). 

If the search proves successful and you wish to arrange an accompanied visit to the site, you will need to make an appointment through the cemetery office. An additional minimum donation of ₤25 will be payable to cover prior search time and any clearance work necessary to make the grave accessible.

Please note that whilst the Friends of the Cemetery do their utmost to maintain the site and meet the needs of grave owners, neither they nor the Cemetery are responsible for the upkeep of privately-owned graves.
