Who We Are

Since Highgate Cemetery reopened in 1975 after years of neglect, the Friends have kept this spectacular Grade 1 listed park open and operating for the benefit of grave owners and visitors. 
                                  
The cemetery can never have too many Friends. Each contributes what they can, when they can. They give support, time, money, expertise and hard work. Every Friend has something to offer. Friends get free access to the East cemetery, free guided tours of the West cemetery and a regular newsletter.

Perhaps most rewardingly, they gain the satisfaction of knowing that they are helping to keep the wonderful story of Highgate Cemetery alive, its gates open and its future secure.
